Poco X5 and X5 Pro: after the technical sheet, here are the prices in euros

Decidedly, the leaks concerning the Poco X5 and X5 Pro do not stop anymore. We owe the information of this Thursday, February 2, 2023 to the reputable leaker SnoopyTech who published on Twitter the prices in euros of future affordable smartphones from Xiaomi.

Here are the prices announced on the European market according to his information:

• Poco X5: 269 ​​€ in 128/6 GB RAM version
• Poco X5 Pro: 379 € in 128/8 GB RAM version

Slightly higher prices, just like performance

As you can see, there is a slight price increase compared to the previous generation, with a Poco X5 Pro displayed at €379 compared to €349 for the X4 Pro. But this increase is justified by the significant improvement in performance since the X5 Pro would notably be equipped with a Snapdragon 778Ga slab in 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLEDa battery of 5000mAh (67W compatible) and a 108 MP ISOCELL HM2 main photo sensor.

As for the classic X5, we should count on a Snapdragon 695 chip, a 6.67″ FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED screen, a 5,000 mAh battery (fast charging limited to 33 W). Finally, this is in any case what was revealed by the listing of the two devices on the site of a Bulgarian retailer a week ago. No information about the photo section. On the other hand, it is specified that the smartphone will be offered in: green, blue and black.

If you find these prices too high, be aware that Poco always makes price cuts during launches. In other words, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the X5 offered at €250 and the X5 Pro displayed at €350, for example.
