Pokémon Go Field Studies
Field Studies consist of completing challenges to earn rewards. Players can get a mission by spinning a PokéStop or an Arena. Each Field Study contains an objective to achieve. Rewards can range from special items to encounters with rare Pokémon.
Special Studies on Pokémon Go
Special Studies are often based on the history of the game or tied to a particular event. These time-limited tasks often lead to encounters with fabulous or legendary Pokémon such as Mewtwo, Rayquaza, or Mew. It’s very similar to Field Studies except they are bigger rewards.
How to unlock Study Phases in Pokémon Go
At the start of the month, players receive a Study Phases card with seven slots for stamping. Trainers earn a Research Buffer for each Field Study completed.
Be careful, you cannot get only one tampon per day. This means that it takes at least a week to collect the seven stamps and validate the Study Phases.
How to get Solochi and its Shiny version in the December 2021 Study Phases on Pokémon Go
Once you’ve collected seven stamps, the Study Phases will unlock and you can open the box. For this month of December 2021, the final reward will offer you an encounter with Solochi, the Dark and Dragon type of the fifth generation.
Players who complete the Study Phases will also have a chance to encounter the Chromatic version of Solochi. However, you will need a lucky star because meeting a Shiny version of a Pokémon using Study Phases is not easy. You will have a 1 in 450 chance of getting Solochi Shiny.
If you want to increase your chances of meeting Solochi Shiny, the only solution is not to miss a day of Field Studies. There are a total of 4 weeks per month, so you will have a maximum of 4 chances to find and capture it in Shiny version.
There you have it, that’s all you need to know about Field Studies and Pokémon Go Study Phase rewards in December 2021.
