Pokémon Go: Prepare for the Featured Hour of Nucleos


The next Featured Hour on Pokémon Go will feature Nucleos, with an unmissable bonus. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.

Introduced by Niantic in 2020, Pokémon Featured Time has become one of Pokémon Go’s most popular recurring events.

At the start of 2022, it is the turn of Nucleos to be in the spotlight with a Featured Hour that will allow players to capture a large number of them and enjoy some bonuses.

While the tiny Psychic-type Cell Pokémon may not be a very powerful asset to your team, this Featured Hour provides the perfect opportunity to stock up on Candy and have it all. evolve into Meios then in Symbios.

As has been the case since 2020, every Tuesday of every month is dedicated to hosting a 60-minute celebration for a single Pokémon. Trainers exploring the map during the set time will encounter the featured creature with boosted spawn rate.



Pokémon Go Featured Time Nucleos: Date and time

Niantic has confirmed that the next Featured Hour will be dedicated to Nucleos, and that it will be put online this Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Nucleos will therefore be the first Pokémon to be honored in 2022 on Pokémon Go.

This time-limited event starts at the usual time, at 6 p.m., and continues until 7 p.m., local hour. This means that the event will start at that time, wherever you are in the world.

How to prepare well for the Featured Hour of Nucleos in Pokémon Go?

Preparation for this Star Hour is crucial, as it only lasts 60 minutes. Here’s what you can do to best prepare for it:

  • Save your Pokepieces and buy at least two Incense for the event
  • Empty the storage box Pokémon for all the Nucleos you are going to catch
  • Make sure you have enough Poké Balls in your inventory
  • Make sure you have enough Berries to get Bonbons in duplicate or to facilitate capture

Nucleos Featured Hour Bonus on Pokémon Go

During the Featured Hour of January 24, 2022, trainers will be able to enjoy Double candy during transfers as part of the event bonuses.

This bonus will apply to all Pokémon that you transfer, and not just to Nucleos. So now is the time to go wild and transfer unnecessary Pokémon by the dozen to fill your crates with candy.

We recommend using a Lucky egg, which doubles the XP you’ll earn during the event. Since December 2020, the level cap on Pokémon Go has increased from 40 at level 50. This event is therefore far from negligible, because it will allow you to gain XP very easily.

Is there a Shiny Nucleos on Pokémon Go?

Unfortunately the chromatic version of Nucleos is not available on Pokémon Go. As a result, none of its evolutions, whether Meios or Symbios shiny, can be caught either.

As always, Chromatic versions are incredibly hard to find, but there’s arguably no better time to get one than during Featured Hour!

How to evolve Nucleos into Symbios on Pokémon Go?

Evolve Nucleos into Symbios could not be simpler and more common. In fact, you just need to collect 125 Candy : child’s play thanks to the Featured Hours event. You will first need to spend 25 to upgrade Nucleos to Meios, then an additional 100 to get your Symbios.
