Yesterday, a new trailer for the long-awaited Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was unveiled by the Nintendo teams. In the latter, we discover many aspects of the future game as well as its gameplay. We note the arrival, for the first time in a Pokémon game of the main series, of 4 player co-op. But several new Pokémon have also been staged:
- Two Legendaries: Koraidon (exclusive to the Scarlet version) and Miraidon (exclusive to the Violet version).
- Three adorable creatures: Pohm (Electric-type), Gourmelet (Normal-type), and Olivini (Plant- and Normal-type).
Although the two professors shown in the trailer made the buzz on the networks, the Pokémon were still under the spotlight. including one in particular which still haunts the community.

The Electric-type Pokémon has a large fur that allows it to protect itself effectively from the cold but also to store electricity. He also knew how to charm fans of the license thanks to his appearance worthy of a plush.
But doesn’t this adorable critter mean something to you? The Ouafi in Kirby and the Forgotten World are very similar to the Mouse Pokémon. We hope that Pohm will be more cordial…
Olivini
Olivini is as its name suggests… An Olive Pokemon. It converts nutrients into oil which it stores in the fruit that tops its head. Unfortunately, the olive oil he produces is not edible.
However, his appearance and his more than original name panicked the web, and many memes followed!
Gourmet
It is indeed the Pig Pokémon that wins the gold medal for popularity on the networks. It is possible to find hundreds of posts about Gourmelet on these. What makes its charm? His adorable appearance but above all… His personality with which many fans have identified.
He is described as “Shy and weak-minded”a description made the popularity of the Pokémon.
A whole community has therefore been created around “Lechonk” (from its English name), which also has a lot to do with its great success.
In any case, we can’t wait to discover more new Pokémon from this future generation because the first ones seem more than endearing!
