Police dog catches man – burglary in terraced house solved the same evening

Yesterday, Friday, two men broke into a terraced house in Salzburg city. A large-scale manhunt launched, including police service dogs, was successful that same evening.

Shortly after 8:30 p.m. there was a break-in at a terraced house in the city of Salzburg. The two perpetrators fled after the crime. A large-scale police search followed, during which a 32-year-old man was arrested around 9 p.m. The second accused, a 31-year-old, was able to escape for the time being. He was tracked down by a service dog and arrested at around 9:45 p.m. The two perpetrators had stolen goods with them and were clearly identified.
