Police stopped them – drivers raced through the construction site area at 130 km/h

Two men lost their driving licenses on Monday. They were traveling much too fast on the Tauern Autobahn near Flachau. Instead of the permitted 80 kilometers per hour, their speedometers showed more than 130.

During speed checks on Monday, the Salzburg police pulled two Serbs out of traffic near Flachau. The vehicle drivers exceeded the maximum speed in the construction site area by more than 50 kilometers per hour. The limit on this section of the motorway is 80 km/h. Both men had to hand in their driving licenses immediately. They received advertisements. Breathalyzer tests showed that the two drivers were not under the influence of alcohol.
