Poll: This Disney movie is where the most people cry

Which Disney film touches viewers the most emotionally? In a new survey, a classic came out on top.

You need handkerchiefs for some Disney films. Apparently there is a lot of crying at "Bambi". In a recent "Radio Times" poll, the cartoon from 1942 was voted the saddest Disney film. 38 percent voted for the drama, including many women. The men get emotional on another film.

These movie songs are in demand

According to the poll, the 2009 film "Top" is the Disney movie that men find saddest. It's about the elderly widower Carl Fredricksen, who is supposed to vacate the house where he lived with his late wife. On the spur of the moment, he and his house set out to make a dream come true that he and his wife had had since childhood. Accidentally on board is the young boy scout Russell …

"Above" was voted one of the most emotional films on the Disney + streaming service by 35 percent of respondents – ahead of "The Lion King", which was named by 34 percent.

The 11,000+ people who took part in the survey also chose the Disney song that cheers them up the most. The winner was "Try it with comfort" from "The Jungle Book" with 40 percent. It was followed by "You've Got a Friend in Me" from "Toy Story" and "Hakuna Matata" from "The Lion King" with 29 percent each. "Most nostalgic" for the survey participants are the films "Mary Poppins", "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Cool Runnings".
