The New Zealand government has had the brilliant idea of imagining a funny spot where naked porn actors ring the doorbell to talk about security on the Internet.

Imagine this scene: two porn actors, naked like Adam and Eve, ring your doorbell to say: "Hello… Did you know that your son is watching us online?" Funny isn't it? This very real scenario was imagined by the New Zealand government as part of the prevention of early exposure to pornography. Humor is used here for very serious purposes. In the spot, a mother played by actress Justine Smith learns that her son watched the pornography clips of the two visitors "on his laptop, his iPad, his Playstation, his phone, your phone, his connected television". The teenager, who appears very quickly, almost faints when his mother learns the news and they decide to take the time to talk about it for once …

The video called "Keep It Real Online " was deployed during prime time on television in New Zealand. The goal ? Remember that connected life is not disconnected from life altogether.

A finding following a report in December 2019 which reveals that young New Zealanders use the Internet as the first and main tool to learn about sex and a third of the videos watched in the country portrayed "non-consensual" activities.

This spot is not the only one, it is featured in a series of videos dealing with cyberbullying, grooming (strategy of seduction) by pedophiles and the easy access of children to violent content. All encourage parents to "stay calm, calm and focused" when entering into difficult conversations with their children about online issues, according to the creative agency.

"Parents need to feel confident when dealing with these issues … in the end, they are the best person to keep their child safe," said Hilary Ngan Kee, spokesperson for Motion Advertising Agency. Sickness, in a press release.

In France, senators voted for an amendment to the bill on domestic violence to strengthen the protection of minors from exposure to pornography.
