On the left wing of the presidential majority, four deputies from the En Commun party led by Barbara Pompili on Thursday became simple “related” to the Renaissance group in the Assembly, a “clarification” which gives them more “latitude” according to them. .

“We will no longer be called ‘Renaissance’ and that gives us more latitude to express our nuances”, explained to AFP Mireille Clapot, whose change of situation appears in the Official Journal, alongside those of Barbara Pompili, Cécile Rilhac and Stella Dupont.

Doubts about pension reform

They had voiced their doubts about the pension reform. The former minister Barbara Pompili had planned to abstain on the government text finally adopted via the weapon of 49.3.

The four deputies are listed at En Commun, which carries a “political project of ecological, social, democratic and united transformation”. They do not have their Renaissance party card, which does not allow dual membership. The Renaissance group in the Assembly has 170 deputies, including 9 now related.
