The “strong team” (ZDF) investigates when a priest is found dead in the confessional. “The big hit surprise” awaits Florian Silbereisen in the first. Sat.1 is also showing the new edition of “Tom & Jerry” in feature length.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, A strong team: And forgive them for their guilt, crime thriller
Pastor Heintze (Wolfgang Finck) is found dead in the confessional of his church – apparently he was pushed from the gallery. The “strong team” begins the investigation. Heintze was found by housekeeper Maria Kerkel (Karoline Eichhorn), who is not a possible perpetrator. Fed by Gspusi Jens Bömmert (Holger Bülow), colleague and parishioner, the team comes across master baker Lorenz (Thomas Arnold), who recently had a heated argument with the priest.
8:15 p.m., Das Erste, The Big Hit Surprise, Show
There has never been a show like this: For the first time, a presenter is surprised with a complete show on his own show! Florian Silbereisen believes that he will surprise DJ Ötzi with a show for his anniversary. In reality, DJ Ötzi is the decoy! Because it’s not DJ Ötzi who is surprised, but Florian Silbereisen, whose Saturday evening show career began 20 years ago.
8:15 p.m., Sat.1, Tom & Jerry, animation
The cheeky mouse Jerry settles in a luxury hotel in New York, where he soon causes a lot of attention. Employee Kayla should therefore take care of the problem as quickly as possible. She hires Jerry’s archenemy Tom, of all people, who immediately hunts him down. However, the two of them only cause more trouble with their cat-and-mouse game.
8:15 p.m., RTL, Schlag den Besten, game show
In the game show “Schlag den Besten” eleven celebrities compete in ten challenges to prove their sporting and mental abilities. Each win can earn them €10,000, followed by the difficult decision of keeping the money or staying in the game. The season culminates in the finale of the fourth show, where the two top celebrities play for the big jackpot.
10:20 p.m., Sat.1, Ant-Man and the Wasp, sci-fi adventure
Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who made enemies as Ant-Man, is ordered by the FBI not to leave his house. Shortly before the end of his arrest, he is arrested by Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), who are researching a tunnel in their laboratory to free Hope’s mother from subatomic space, are kidnapped. But it’s not just the dealer Burch (Walton Goggins) who stands in their way, the mysterious Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) also wants to use the technology for her own purposes.
