In “Die Heiland – We are Lawyers” (Das Erste), a musical star is accused of attempted murder. ZDF is showing the documentary “Mensch Baerbock!” and on ProSieben, Joko and Klaas are fighting for airtime again.

8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Die Heiland – We are a lawyer: In the spotlight, lawyer series

The star of a children’s musical, Jenny Wehran (Jeanette Biedermann), is accused of poisoning the show’s choreographer: a drug cocktail was found in his blood. The successful musical “The Magic Forest 2.0” is the life’s work of Jenny’s father Mario Wehran (André M. Hennicke), who as patriarch runs the Wehran family business, where Jenny’s sister Sandra also works. Mario Wehran is convinced that Jenny is innocent; in his opinion, the choreographer Patrick Leclerque (Luka Dimic) must have given himself the overdose. But an anonymous tip suggests that it was not self-inflicted.

Can she do that? This question accompanies Annalena Baerbock will be appointed Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany in December 2021. Two years later, “ZDFzeit” takes stock. How did the first woman to hold one of the most important cabinet positions do her job, and how has Baerbock as a person changed? A man climbs onto the windowsill of a New York hotel and threatens to jump down. Police Detective Dougherty tries to defuse the situation on site, but the surprisingly composed man asks for police psychologist Lydia Mercer (Elizabeth Banks). She is amazed when she sees who is standing on the windowsill. It is the ex-cop Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington), who went to prison a few years ago for a diamond robbery, but has since escaped and checked in as a hotel guest under a false name.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Friesland: Under the surface, crime comedy

Undertaker Habedank (Holger Stockhaus) offers customers “digital estate management”. Because social media accounts, email inboxes and dating apps must be canceled, deleted or shut down. However, when a customer suddenly dies, the enterprising undertaker not only has the police on his hands, but also the widower’s lawyer, Svantje Oltmann (Valerie Niehaus). She makes a claim to the digital heritage on behalf of her client Hinnerk Schwidden (Aljoscha Stadelmann).

8:20 p.m., ProSieben, Joko & Klaas against ProSieben, show

Joko and Klaas challenge an entire station together. The aim is to compete against the entire ProSieben universe – everyone is invited to a test of strength. ProSieben alone decides on opponents and games. If Joko and Klaas triumph, the broadcaster gives them a 15-minute live broadcast slot to organize freely. If your employer wins, you must place yourself unconditionally at his service.
