“Grill den Henssler” (VOX) returns with a jungle special. A corpse found in the “crime scene” (Das Erste) affects Commissioner Borowski very deeply. In “The Fantastic Journey of Dr. Dolittle” (RTL), Robert Downey Jr. is looking for a magical cure.

In jungle fever: At the start, moderated by Laura Wontorra, fans can look forward to a jungle special. The reigning jungle king Filip Pavlovic as well as Anouschka Renzi and Harald Glööckler show at the stove against Steffen Henssler that they can not only cook rice with beans. They are coached by the Leipzig star chef Lisa Angermann. Mirja Boes, Reiner Calmund and Christian Rach rate the dishes.

8:15 p.m., The First, Crime Scene: Borowski and the Shadow of the Moon, thriller

After an autumn storm, a skeletonized body is found under an uprooted oak tree. As Borowski (Axel Milberg) suspects very quickly, it is the remains of his first girlfriend Susanne (Mina Rueffer). When Borowski was 16, he wanted to hitchhike with her to the legendary Jimi Hendrix performance on Fehmarn. After an argument, however, Susanne disappeared without a trace. Borowski had tirelessly tried to explain the disappearance.

8:15 p.m., RTL, The Fantastic Journey of Dr. Dolittle, Fantasy

The once famous Dr. Dolittle (Robert Jr. Downey) retired after the death of his wife Lily (Kasia Smutniak) and lives with his animals behind the high walls of his estate. But when the young English Queen Victoria (Jessie Buckley) falls seriously ill, only he can help her. Together with his doctor’s assistant Tommy (Harry Collett) and some animal companions he can talk to, he travels to a fabled island where there is said to be a cure.

In the house of Malte (Oliver Bröcker) and his father, no one talks about Malte’s mother. She died for him a long time ago, says Malte, and his friends know that that’s only half the truth. When the young Steffi (Hanna Plaß) appears in Selpin and seems to wrap Malte around her finger, Johanna (Greta Galisch de Palma), Jette (Anne Weinknecht) and Fabian (Nicola Fritzen) are surprised that Malte is so approachable to her. Where he usually avoids women.

8:15 p.m., ProSieben, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Action

An incident during a rescue operation in Earth orbit forces Jean Gray (Sophie Turner) to absorb enormous amounts of energy. These not only enhance the mutant’s telekinetic powers, making them dangerous to her and others, but also break through a mental barrier set up by Professor X (James McAvoy) to protect Jean from her past.
