The private detective Hartwig Seeler (Das Erste) is looking for a missing person in Greece. In “Schlag den Star” (Sat.1) Michael “Bully” Herbig and Rick Kavanian compete against each other. Later, Tom Cruise has to prevent a nuclear catastrophe in “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” (Sat.1).
8:15 p.m., The First, Hartwig Seeler – In the labyrinth of revenge, thriller
The private detective Hartwig Seeler (Matthias Koeberlin) allows himself to be persuaded to do an assignment that he actually wants to refuse. In Kardamili in southern Greece, the former Munich police officer is said to be looking for his client’s brother who has disappeared. Seeler associates his own memories of the last holiday before the death of his wife Maria with the coastal town. What a coincidence! Or maybe a good reason to finally process the trauma? After his arrival, Seeler tries to track down the missing person.

In this edition, Michael Bully Herbig and Rick Kavanian compete against each other in up to 15 rounds in a direct duel. Who shows fighting spirit and fitness? Who shows brains and skill? Sonic’s extraordinary ability to move in a matter of seconds calls forth adversaries who leave him with no choice but to abandon his homeland and flee to Earth. While the Zurich cultural scene discovers the touching portrait photograph by Corinna Riemer (Julia Richter) at a vernissage, Borchert (Christian Kohlund) finds a corpse in front of the door: organizer and art patron Altweger (Steffen Münster) was shot in the courtyard of his own gallery! Statements about a loud argument burden the caterer Giovanni Lazzari (Michele Cuciuffo), who has gunshot residue on his hand and has to admit illegal possession of a pistol. At the request of Lazzari’s wife Cristina (Clelia Sarto), Borchert and his boss Dominique (Ina Paule Klink) take over the defense.
10:15 p.m., Sat.1, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Action
Led by a fundamentalist who calls himself John Lark (Henry Cavill), the Apostles – remaining followers of villain Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) – plan to obtain bomb-grade plutonium. Secret agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is supposed to stop the handover. But the mission goes awry due to a momentous decision and the terrorist group gets hold of the radioactive material.
