In “Nord bei Nordwest” (Das Erste) a man is suspected of murder after he has found his foster father dead. In “The Masked Dancer” (ProSieben), costumed celebrities swing the dance floor. In “Point Break” (ZDFneo) the extreme athlete Johnny Utah spies on a criminal gang.
8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Nord bei Nordwest – Andy next door, crime thriller
Andreas Brose (Christoph Franken), better known in Schwanitz as “Andy next door”, is a tree made by one man and gifted with craftsmanship. He repairs Hauke’s (Hinnerk Schönemann) broken boat engine and helps Hannah (Jana Klinge) renovate her new house. Andy’s mind, heart and instinct are more like a child’s. When Andy finds his foster father Cem Brose (Vedat Erincin) dead, he is suspected of murder based on a testimony.

In four big live shows, seven prominent undercover dancers with spectacular dance productions will shake “The Masked Dancer” stage, cook the studio, and puzzle the audience and the guessing team. Which stars dance under the masks? As usual, Matthias Opdenhövel will moderate.

The guilt of a fatal accident in the past catches up with two friends and puts their lives in danger. After a year, event manager Björn Müller (Philip Birnstiel) returns to the place where he and his friend and business partner Philipp Wolf (Martin Bruchmann) ran over a family man after a party night and committed a hit-and-run – with serious consequences.
8:15 pm, VOX, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Fantasy
The hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) embarks on a mission with 13 dwarfs and the warrior Thorin – following instructions from the sage Gandalf (Ian McKellen): They have to free the lost dwarf kingdom of Erebor from the clutches of the dragon Smaug. He guards the empire and the treasure hidden there to this day. They have to face many dangers on their journey. When Bilbo meets the unknown being Gollum, he doesn’t know how much that will affect him in the long term.

Former extreme athlete Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) now works for the FBI. He infiltrates a gang of criminals who pull off one spectacular robbery after another. Although Utah wants to bring down the gang around their charismatic leader Bodhi (Édgar Ramírez), he has to realize that they are not so dissimilar.
