Preview: Part four of "House of Money" will appear in April

The Corona crisis means staying at home – and why not watch one or the other series? In spite of production stops all over the world, supplies are not wasted. From April 24th, Chris Evans (38), known to many as Marvel hero Captain America, will appear on Apple TV + in his first major series role in "Defending Jacob". But that's not all. These other highlights are also waiting for series fans.

Streaming service Netflix triumphs from April 3 with part four of the Spanish hit series "House of Money". The trailers have already hinted at a lot of action and chaos. The professor (Álvaro Morte) believes that Lisbon (Itziar Ituño) was killed, Rio (Miguel Herrán) and Tokyo (Úrsula Corberó) blew up a tank, and Nairobi (Alba Flores) hovers between life and death. The group is going through one of its hardest times and a new enemy in the midst of them could seriously endanger the robbery.

British comedian Ricky Gervais (58) returns from April 24 with the second season of "After Life". Tony (Ricky Gervais), although still grieving for Lisa and having trouble opening a new chapter, shows himself open to his little weird world.

In the fourth season of "The Last Kingdom" Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) fights for his birthright from April 26th. Edward (Timothy Innes) and Aethelflaed (Millie Brady) also argue about Merzien's future and their father's dream of a united England.

Amazon Prime Video

From April 3, "Bibi & Tina" will be back on Amazon Prime Video – in a live action series by Detlev Buck (57). For witch Bibi (Katharina Hirschberg) and Tina (Harriet Herbig-Matten) the summer holidays start turbulently. The Martinshof no longer has enough water and Falkenstein is feeling the consequences of climate change more and more. Bibi and Tina want to do something – also against the plans of the entrepreneur Kim Win Win (Julia Strowski), who wants to mine gravel in the area. In addition to Alexander (Benjamin Weygand), the young Spaniard Chico (Christoph Moreno) supports the friends, but he seems to be hiding a secret.

"Tales from the Loop" will also be available from April 3rd. It is about the life and adventures of the people who live above the "loop" – a machine that is supposed to discover the secrets of the universe. The creator Nathaniel Halpern was inspired by the digital paintings by Simon Stålenhag (36). The cast includes Rebecca Hall (37, "The Town – City Without Mercy") and Jonathan Pryce (72, "The Two Popes")

The sixth season of "Bosch" will be available from April 17th. Detective Bosch (Titus Welliver) finds himself in the midst of a complex murder case and a chaotic federal investigation: A medical physicist is killed and the radioactive material he had with him has disappeared. Katrin Bauerfeind (37) can be seen from April 1 (8:15 p.m., ProSieben) in the comedy series "Ms. Jordan is equal". The broadcaster broadcasts the ten episodes of the first season in double episodes. Bauerfeind plays the quick-witted equal opportunities officer Eva Jordan, who fights with her team in the city office for the affairs of all marginalized groups. Regardless of whether retirees, disabled people, Catholics or housewives – everyone gets their money's worth.

At Easter, the series adaptation of "The Name of the Rose" celebrates its German free TV premiere. The eight episodes will be broadcast in double episodes on ServusTV Germany from Good Friday, April 10, to Easter Monday, April 13, each at 8:15 p.m. The action took place in 1327 at the time of a church war. The main character of the Franciscan monk William von Baskerville plays John Turturro (63), his apprentice Adson von Melk embodies Damian Hardung (21). The two want to solve the secret of a dark plot to murder in the Benedictine monastery. They also come under the eye of the Inquisitor Bernado Gui (Rupert Everett).

Cast off for the second season "Das Boot"! The experienced submarine commander Johannes von Reinhartz (Clemens Schick) and his team set sail on a secret mission with the U-822 in December 1942. However, when the loyalty of the captain is questioned, U-612, under the command of Ulrich Wrangel (Stefan Konarske), starts chasing. Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Okon) hopes to return to Germany in New York.
