On a freezing cold winter day, several guests visit their relatives in an old people’s home in the Frankfurt area: while florist Klaus (Rainer Bock) tries to persuade his wife Sylvia (Ruth Reinecke), who has Parkinson’s disease, to move back to their common home to take care of himself Alisa (Bernadette Heerwagen) wants to convince her demented father Martin (Gerd Wameling) to issue her a power of attorney for his account. When the weather changes shortly afterwards and black ice falls over the area, the guests unexpectedly get stuck overnight.

Horst Lichter welcomes people to Drachenburg Castle who want to sell strange little things and fabulous treasures. He receives reinforcement from the dealer and expert team. This time, presenter Anne Gesthuysen and journalist Frank Plasberg are offering a luminous object from Plasberg’s collection that has been in the cellar since the couple’s last move. High time to change that.

Secret Service’s Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is the bodyguard of the President (Aaron Eckhart) and his family. When he cannot prevent the First Lady from accidentally dead, the President demotes him to the Treasury. When a meeting with the main statesmen of South Korea takes place in the Oval Office, the White House is stormed by terrorist North Koreans. Banning, who is in the immediate vicinity, sees his chance. Without hesitation, he ventures into the danger zone to save the president’s life.
