The gambling addict Vitus Höllrigl (Claus Peter Seifert) and the rich hotelier Staffler (Miguel Herz-Kestranek) clash on the racetrack. When Höllrigl was found stabbed to death in his wood carving workshop the next day, inspector Sonja Schwarz (Chiara Schoras) and her colleague Jonas (Gabriel Raab) suspected the businessman who, with his daughter Gabriele (Angelina Häntsch) and his son-in-law Toni (Max Wagner), founded the renowned “Staffler ” operates.
