The “emergency doctor” (Das Erste) is called to a serious traffic accident. “Miss Merkel” (RTL) deals with two feuding families of undertakers. ZDF also shows the documentary “The Tricks of the Supermarkets”.

On the hottest day of the year, Dr. Nina Haddad (Sabrina Amali) and her rescue team reach their limits. Today of all days, firefighter Markus (Max Hemmersdorfer) is assigned as Nina’s driver to replace the “sick” Paul (Paul Zichner). But there is no time to unravel their unresolved love life because they are called to a serious traffic accident. Nina and Markus are the first on site and are left without any equipment. While trying to free the trapped passenger from the accident car, Nina injures herself. But she is not prepared to admit her mistake and hides her injury from her colleagues.

On average, everyone spends around 35 minutes in the supermarket every day. Nine days a year when we are tempted. Winding shelf routes, bright price tags and subtle product presentations only serve one goal: maximum profit.

Experienced firefighter Eric Marsh (Josh Brolin) and fire station chief Duane Steinbrink (Jeff Bridges) want to train a unit specializing in forest fires – a so-called hotshot crew. After four hard years, the Granite Mountain Hotshots are finally ready for use. When a fire breaks out on Yarnell Hill, it appears to be a routine operation. But an emergency occurs.

At the beginning of the 20th century: Attorney Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) is commissioned by his law firm to settle the estate of the late Alice Drablow. When he arrives in the remote village of Crythin Gifford, he is amazed at the unfriendly nature of the villagers. They want to get rid of Arthur as quickly as possible. Arthur only finds out much too late that there is a good reason for this. While he is working in the village, strange things begin to happen in Alice Drablow’s house. Arthur thinks he sees their ghost haunting the place.
