The Ryzen 8000G are processors versatile which combine Zen 4 CPU and RDNA 3 GPU cores, as on the latest portable consoles.

Leading figure of the APUs (accelerated processing unit) – these processors which have an accelerated calculation unit in order to improve this or that area – AMD is preparing for the launch of a new range.

For several weeks now, we have been talking regularly about these Ryzen 8000G which should succeed the Ryzen 5000G and offer desktop PCs an equivalent to machine chips like the AYANEO KUN.

Prices between 190 and 440 dollars

Very recently, it was one of the specialists in hardware leaks who shared a tweet in order to clarify key information: the price of most Ryzen 8000Gs.

Momomo_us – since that’s who we’re talking about – heard of three price ranges from three different resellers. Problem is, the prices thus mentioned can be quite different from each other with one question remaining unanswered: will these Ryzen 8000Gs be a little cheaper, at their launch, than the previous range, the Ryzen 5000G.

The three APU models detailed in this way are priced between 190 and 440 dollars, since of course we are only talking about US prices. The Ryzen 7 8700G would sell for between $340 and $440; the Ryzen 5 8600G between $240 and $310; the Ryzen 5 8500G 190 and 240 dollars.

Cheaper than the Ryzen 5000G?

For all intents and purposes, it should be remembered that the Ryzen 7 5700G – which will therefore be replaced by the Ryzen 7 8700G – was launched by AMD at a price of $359 on August 5, 2021. The lowest hypothesis suggests that the new kid on the block might be $20 cheaper.

Same thing for the Ryzen 5 8600G which will replace the Ryzen 5 5600G. This was launched on August 5, 2021 by AMD which then asked for $259. Of course, the launch of the Ryzen 8000G will perhaps verify the highest hypothesis, in which case, AMD would have significantly increased the rating.

Remember that the first information relating to the power of these Ryzen 8000G shows a doubling of graphics performance in the best case, thank you RDNA 3.
