In 2019, we tested the XGIMI Mogo, the first pico projector with Google Android TV in its native version. This Mogo Pro is the Full HD version of the Mogo.
The all-in-one concept of the Mogo is still just as impressive and the move to a Full HD DLP chip in this Pro version clearly brings an appreciable gain in definition. This pico projector is very pleasant to use on a daily basis with its microphone remote control and its applications which allow you to enjoy most VOD and SVOD content. Too bad Xgimi didn’t take advantage of this Pro version to improve colorimetry and contrast.

Alternatively
The Philips Screeneo U4 ultra-short throw projector is an endearing product due to its compactness and ease of use, but it makes too many concessions. There are, however, some good ideas, such as the dual Bluetooth connection or the automatic focusing and keystone correction system, but the image quality remains perfectible, whether in terms of sharpness or fidelity. Similarly, the contrast is far too limited to make it more than an extra video projector to which you should not forget to attach an HDMI key to take advantage of streaming services.
