Amazon is hosting a discount event for the first time in October, themed “Prime Exclusive Offers”.

On October 11th and 12th, Amazon is organizing a discount campaign in 15 countries for the first time under the motto “Prime Exclusive Offers”. Consumers can also save in Germany and Austria. For example, anyone who is already looking for Christmas presents will be offered a wide selection of items from a wide variety of product categories.

Prime Day, the second

“Prime Exclusive Offers” is similar to Prime Day, which many consumers are already familiar with. Since midnight, the shipping giant has been offering products from categories such as electronics, fashion, beauty, household and toys at the shopping event – including goods from well-known brands such as Wrangler, Hugo Boss and Vans.

There are also discounts on in-house brands, such as devices such as the Smart Speaker Echo, the streaming solution Fire TV Cube or different versions of the e-book reader Kindle.

Amazon promises thousands of exclusive deals. Like Prime Day, held in July 2022, the promotion runs for 48 hours and is only available to Prime members. However, “Prime Exclusive Offers” will probably not be the last big savings campaign before Christmas. There are likely to be numerous deals again as part of the well-known Black Friday, which falls on November 25 this year.

Trial month, series and music

Although membership costs EUR 8.99 per month or EUR 89.90 per year, depending on the subscription chosen, new customers can claim a free 30-day trial period. Students and trainees without a subscription even get the first six months free of charge. After that, membership is available for a 50 percent discount compared to the conventional subscription. Discounted membership is also available for people with a social pass or exemption from broadcasting fees.

This includes, among other things, access to the streaming service Amazon Prime Video. There, the shipping giant is showing many other films and series as well as in-house productions such as “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”, “Apache stays the same” and “LOL: Last One Laughing”.

In addition, until October 13 there is a special offer for everyone who does not use the music streaming service Amazon Music Unlimited and has not yet used it. The first four months are free. After that, the whole thing costs EUR 8.99 per month for Prime members and EUR 9.99 per month for non-members.
