Among the many notable scenes in Emerald Funnell’s “Saltburn”, the one involving a bathtub leaves no one indifferent, at least even going viral on social networks.
Directed and written by Emerald Fennell, Saltburn doesn’t really fit into the Christmas spirit. However, since its release in the United States and France, on Prime Video, this thriller continues to get Internet users talking. The story follows Oliver (Barry Keoghan), a shy student at Oxford University who falls under the spell of the richest and popular student, Felix (Jacob Elordi). When the latter invites him to spend the summer at his family home in Saltburn, things go wrong.
In two hours of film, the director brings together a handful of striking sequences that leave no one indifferent. Among them, there is notably a delirious ending in which Barry Keoghan lets go – and that’s an understatement to say. But one of the most talked about moments involves a bathtub and combines more than 10 million views on TikTokjust that.

In this famous sequence, Felix masturbates in his bath without knowing that he is being secretly observed by Oliver. Moments later, Felix leaves the room and Oliver steps into the tub to lick up the water and cum that drains out.

Actor Jacob Elordi reveals that when he discovered the scene in the script, he couldn’t wait to see it: “You don’t usually see this kind of thing in movies..” To create the sound for this scene, when Oliver sucks and licks the inside of the bathtub, the film crew recorded the sound of an octopus on oil to create a disturbing sound.
