The conviction of Ghislaine Maxwell last week has compounded Prince Andrew’s already tense situation. It is indeed this January 4 that he will know if the complaint filed against him by Virginia Giuffre will give rise to a trial. And what the Duke of York didn’t need was the surprise testimony of the complainant’s ex-boyfriend, who incriminates him.
This is another bad surprise and a big blow to Prince Andrew. This Sunday, January 2 Anthony Figueroa, 39, years old, former boyfriend of Virginia Giuffre, made revelations about the prince, and they do not go at all in the direction that the latter could have hoped. In the Sunday mirror the man gave a testimony which – if it turns out to be correct – rams the duke of york. A testimony that could not be worse for the son of Elizabeth II who is waiting for tomorrow – January 4 – Judge Lewis Kaplan’s decision. The latter will indeed have to announce if the complaint of the young woman filed in August – and who accuses the father of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of sexual assault – is admissible, and whether or not it should lead to a trial.
In his testimony Anthony Figueroa indicates that at the material time he was dating Virginia Giuffre, whom he met in high school. He claims he thought her role with Jeffrey Epstein was that of masseuse. The young woman would have confided to him that she was “scared“because the sulphurous businessman and his companion Ghislaine Maxwell wanted her to do with Prince Andrew. “I remember the first time Virginia mentioned it in 2001. She knew she would meet him and said thatshe knew what they wanted her to do with him and she didn’t want to do it“he said in the columns of the British tabloid.

In 2001 the young couple lived in Palm Beach, Florida, where the residence – now destroyed – of Jeffrey Epstein was located, and in which many young women would have been subjected to a sad fate. For Anthony Figueroa Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein would have manipulated his young companion pushing her to do unacceptable things. He remembers in particular that the young woman flew away on board of Lolita Express towards Little Saint James Island and that she was gone for two weeks.
But if he doesn’t hesitate to charge Maxwell and Epstein, he is not gentle with Sarah Ferguson’s ex-husband. According to him, he is responsible for the breakup of the young couple, and says he cannot look at the photo in which Virginia Giuffre with the Duke of York without a hint of anger. He thus declared to Mirror : “I didn’t see the photo of her with Andrew until after we broke up. It still pisses me off to think about it because from the moment she returned from this trip, things were different. This is what brought about the end of our story ”
Anthony Figueroa claims to no longer have relations with his ex-girlfriend but ensures to be proud of his action. The one who is now based in Atlanta, Georgia, believes thathat Andrew’s royal status does not allow him any privilege “Andrew must be questioned by the authorities here, and he must answer to justice. ”
