Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla enjoyed themselves at the Notting Hill Carnival comeback party on Wednesday.

Prince Charles (73) and Duchess Camilla (74) got a taste of the upcoming Notting Hill Carnival on Wednesday. The traditional art event is celebrating its return this year after having to be canceled in the past two years due to the corona pandemic.

The Notting Hill Carnival was founded in 1966 and has since developed into a “diverse and lively event” that brings Caribbean culture to London every year, says Charles and Camilla’s Instagram account. A video was shared in which the two take a close look at the individual costumes. The fun was written all over their faces.

Charles entertains the visitors

Above all, the moment when Prince Charles stood in front of two disguised art figures on high stilts made everyone laugh. “Hello up there,” Charles quipped. Notting Hill Carnival takes place from August 27th to 29th. More than a million visitors are expected.
