The youngest members of the British royal family are now the benchmark when choosing a name for British parents, as the Office for National Statistics has found.

With the choice of names for the blue-blooded offspring, the British royal family shows that they have a good hand. As a recently published ranking for baby names in England and Wales shows, Prince George, Mia Tindall and Isla Phillips were the inspiration for many parents-to-be when looking for their own offspring in 2020.

Prince George, Mia Tindall & Co: A mini-royal is new in the top ten

A Mini from Windsor in particular achieved the breakthrough for a particularly ancient name, while other popular models from the descendants of Queen Elizabeth were pushed back as namesake.
