Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: return to the UK next year?

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan could return to the UK for an extended period in 2021. Several important dates are pending.

After moving to the USA, Prince Harry (35), his wife Duchess Meghan (39) and son Archie (1) could possibly return to the UK for a longer period in the coming year. According to the British Daily Mail, journalist Omid Scobie, one of the authors of the recently published Royal unveiling book "Finding Freedom", recently revealed this in the "Heir Pod" podcast.

"I wouldn't be surprised if the Sussexes spend an extended period in the UK next year," explains Scobie. There are "numerous reasons" that Harry and Meghan spend spring and summer in Europe. But it also depends on whether travel, which has been restricted by the corona pandemic, has normalized again by then.

Statue, sporting event, parade

The next Invictus Games are to take place in The Hague between May 29, 2021 and June 5, 2021. The Royal himself co-founded the Paralympic sporting event for war-disabled soldiers. It's a matter close to Harry's heart. In addition, Princess Diana, who died in 1997, the mother of Harry and his brother Prince William (38), will be honored with a statue in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on July 1st, as recently became known. Lady Di would have celebrated her 60th birthday that day.

In addition, Scobie can well imagine that Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry would like to take part in the traditional "Trooping the Color" military parade, which will be held in June in honor of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II (94).
