The first day of competition at the Invictus Games has started with an auto obstacle course. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan cheered in the crowd.

The first day of competition at the Invcitus Games in The Hague featured an auto obstacle course on Saturday, the first medal event of the tournament. Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) cheered the athletes from the edge. The two then tried their hand at parkour – albeit in mini Landrover cars driven by children.

Harry sat there in the same car as the four-year-old winner, daughter of a Dutch Invictus athlete. At the finish line, the prince threw his arms in the air and cheered loudly. Meanwhile, wife Meghan sat next to a French woman and giggled as the four-year-old attempted to navigate the parkour.

Prince Harry was dressed in dark blue chinos and a black “Invictus Games” polo shirt, Duchess Meghan combined her casual denim jeans and a white T-shirt with a black tweed jacket by Celine, Chanel ballerinas and aviator glasses. She wore her hair in a loose ponytail.

What’s next for Meghan and Harry in The Hague?

The fifth Invictus Games will be officially opened in The Hague on Saturday evening. Prince Harry is also expected to give a speech. On Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. there will be numerous competitions, including sitting volleyball, various athletics disciplines and archery.

The games will continue until next Friday (April 22nd). Prince Harry will be present at several competitions. It was only announced a few days ago that Duchess Meghan was accompanying him to the Netherlands.
