Prince Harry is expected to visit London in May. Whether he will also take his children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with him to his homeland depends on one crucial factor.

Already flew at the beginning of February Prince Harry, 39, spontaneously traveled to Great Britain to meet King Charles, 75, after his cancer diagnosis was made public. Now, a few months later, his next visit home is coming up. It is said that he hopes to finally be able to take his children with him again, but that depends on one key factor.

Prince Harry hopes to take his children with him

On May 8, 2024, the Duke of Sussex will speak at the tenth anniversary celebration of the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Although his participation in the celebrations has not yet been confirmed by one of his speakers, the 39-year-old is listed on an official list as a guest and speaker. It is still uncertain whether Duchess Meghan, 42, will accompany her husband, but her name should also be on the guest list for the service.

A source reports that the return of Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, to their father’s homeland depends only on their decision as to whether they will travel to London or not. “The children’s participation is still pending because they will only come to the UK if their mother decides to take part,” the insider told Express. “Harry hopes they will join him so they can all enjoy the service and meet members of his family while they are there.”

Will King Charles finally see his grandchildren again?

It would only be little Lilibet’s second visit to Great Britain. She was last there in 2022 during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth, †96. At that time she also celebrated a small milestone herself. Lili turned one and was even treated to a birthday party at Frogmore Cottage, her parents’ former British home.

Archie and Lilibet grew up thousands of kilometers from their British relatives in the Californian celebrity town of Montecito. For this reason, King Charles is said to have no connection with his grandchildren. “Unfortunately for the King, there really is no relationship between the King and his grandchildren because he hasn’t had the opportunity to develop that relationship,” royal author Robert Jobson recently explained in the Hulu documentary “Prince Harry’s Mission: Life, Family and the Invictus Games”.
