That was almost four years ago! On May 19, 2018, it was after two years of love that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said ‘yes’ to St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. Among the guests were members of the British royal family, but also many celebrities, such as George and Amal Clooney, Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams. If the couple’s relatives had responded to celebrate their love, some friends of the prince harry were not invited to the private reception held at Frogmore House. This was particularly the case of Prince Harry’s best friend, Tom Inskip, alias Skippy. According to biographers Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand in their book Finding Freedom, the latter was not happy to be removed from the list and allegedly made a sarcastic remark during brunch the next day.
In the book, it was stated as follows:Notable absentees were Skippy, Harry’s old friend, who had questioned the prince’s relationship with Meghan, and his wife, Lara. They were invited to the wedding ceremony and the midday reception, but were not selected for the evening party. During a brunch the day after the wedding, Skippy told friends: ‘Meghan has changed Harry too much.’ His friend from Eton said the prince was impressed with people like the Clooneys and Oprah.“So Tom Inskip would have blurted out:”We lost it!“The authors of Finding Freemore added: “Many of Harry’s former friends said the evening’s guest list was the prince and his wife’s way of saying, ‘These are the people we want in our lives moving forward.’“

If the grandson of Elizabeth II did not appreciate that his friend had doubts about Meghan Markle and made him pay by not inviting her to the party organized on the night of his wedding, it seems that they are always friends. A year after their argument, the duo have reportedly reconciled after the death of Tom Inskip’s stepmother.
