The relationship between Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan and the British royal family has been extremely tense for years. Now a new argument is said to have broken out between the Sussexes and Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales.
Since Duchess Meghan, 42, and Prince Harry, 39, turned their backs on the British royal family, they have revealed all sorts of details about the Royal Family. In the Oprah interview or Harry’s memoir “Spare” there were sharp shots against the royal family. The Sussexes also made some explosive statements in their Netflix documentary. In the documentary series, Harry and Meghan revealed details about how they met as well as previously unseen footage of their children Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2 – and incidentally declared war on the British press and the Royal Family. The Sussex cooperation with the streaming service is now said to have caused a new dispute between the already estranged brothers.
Do Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have a new conflict with William and Catherine?
The new season of the successful series “The Crown” starts on Netflix on November 16th. The sixth season shows, among other things, the beginning of love between Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, when the two met at St. Andrew’s University. What should worry the heir to the throne, however, is the storyline contained in the new episodes, which deals with the tragic death of his mother Princess Diana, †36, concerned. This hurts William, which is why he and Kate are now said to be “upset” that Harry and Meghan are still working closely with Netflix, a source tells Heat Magazine.
“There’s already so much bad blood between them and the new season of The Crown just adds fuel to the fire. It’s fueling a lot of anger within William and Kate, they’re so against the show – they feel hurt by it.” . And further: “William and Kate think it’s pretty wrong that Meghan and Harry keep stressing how important their privacy is and how much they need to protect their image, but now Netflix – the company they have signed their lives over to – is violating that William and Kate’s privacy and complete control over their image.” The five-year contract that the Sussexes signed with the streaming giant in September 2020 stipulates that they can produce documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripts and children’s programs – so the quota is far from exhausted.
