Gary Goldsmith is not known for keeping his opinions about Prince Harry, 39, and Duchess Meghan, 42, quiet. The uncle of Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41, has complained in the past about the behavior of the Sussexes since “Megxit” – and not too briefly. He announced his memoirs back in 2013, and now the book publication is apparently getting serious. “Originally he wanted to focus the book on himself and his journey to becoming a millionaire, but now he will add some private family details,” says a source quoted by the Mirror. Things could be particularly tight for Harry and Meghan.

Prince Harry + Duchess Meghan: They didn’t expect this step

The Sussexes didn’t mince words in their Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan”, and just a few months later Harry followed up again with his book “Spare”: one private and shocking revelation followed the next. An insider close to the royals now explains to “OK!” magazine that Harry was sure that he would not get a public reaction to his statements, especially from Prince William, 41, “because it is not befitting a future king, to do that.” They don’t like the fact that it is Catherine, Princess of Wales’s uncle, who wants to fire back against the Sussexes in a similar way. “Harry wouldn’t have expected such a comeback from Kate’s family. [Meghan und er] will fear the publication of the book,” asserts the insider.

Furthermore, the anonymous source is sure that Gary Goldsmith wants to bring some “private family details” to light with his “tell-all book”, as the “Mirror” is already calling it. Goldsmith wants to use his memoirs “as an opportunity to give the Middleton family a voice amidst the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s accusations and criticism of the House of Windsor.”

Catherine, Princess of Wales: Have a say in Gary Goldsmith’s book?

The insider is also certain that Goldsmith will present the manuscript to his sister Carole Middleton, 68, and his niece Catherine before passing it on to his publisher. “OK!” magazine quotes the statement: “Gary is still very close to both Carole and Kate. He won’t want to do anything that might embarrass them.” At the same time, “the good opportunity to raise the Middletons’ voice” is repeatedly emphasized. For Gary, it seems particularly important to “set the record straight on some of the things Harry wrote about in Spare.”
