Prince Harry’s poignant tribute

During his speech on stage, Prince Harry emphasized “as you know, I was unable to attend the awards ceremony last year, because my grandmother died”. He then mentioned the fact that the queen, if she had still been alive, would have insisted that he take part in the ceremony rather than staying by her side. These moving words demonstrated attachment and pain immeasurable from the prince.

On this dark day, Prince Harry therefore chose to stay far from his family. Instead, he travels to Düsseldorf, Germany, for the launch of Invictus Games. For his part, Charles III sent a touching tribute to her “Dear Mum” on the networks. The king also expresses his gratitude for the support received by him and his wife. Meanwhile, Prince William and Kate Middleton of Wales are expected to speak publicly to pay their respects to the late Queen after a mass at St David’s Cathedral. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stressed the extent of the service rendered by His late Majesty.
