Prince Nikolai walked the catwalk for “Dior” and graced the cover of the Ukrainian “Vogue”. Now friend Benedict Thoustrup wants to follow in his footsteps and make a career as a model.
The royal offspring from Denmark is known to have rather unusual career paths. Prince Nikolai, 22, broke off his military training in 2018 after just eight weeks – as is currently his brother Prince Felix, 19 – and prefers to stroll through international catwalks for luxury labels such as “Dior” or “Burberry”.
Is his girlfriend Benedikt Thoustrup, 22, with whom he just celebrated his couple Insta debut, competition now? Because the Danish student is now starting a modeling career.
Prince Nikolai: His Benedicts becomes a model
Until now, Benedict has lived in a secluded life and has not been seen publicly at the side of her famous prince friend in recent years. Is that supposed to end now? It all started with a first love photo, which she posted on her Instagram account on September 29, 2021. Now it is known that the Danish student, who is currently staying with Nikolai for a semester abroad in Paris, wants to get started as a model.
While Prince Nikolai is under contract with the internationally known Danish model agency “Scoop Models”, Benedict is still a bit more relaxed. The 22-year-old has signed a contract with the smaller model agency “Bornmodels”. Yours is already there first set card to see, which reveals a lot about the young Danish woman. It is extremely photogenic, 1.73 meters tall and, with dimensions 80-60-78, also fits the required model standard. Thoustrup also likes to present her posing talent on Instagram.
Benedict’s agent has “great expectations”
Benediktes agent Patrick Schwensen is very satisfied. He told the Danish tabloid “Her og Nu”: “She has just finished her first photo shoot and I have great expectations, both at home and abroad.” It remains to be seen whether she will make it onto the international catwalks or even a “Vogue” cover like Nikolai. In any case, her current home in the fashion capital Paris fits perfectly with the 22-year-old’s plans.

Nikolai and Benediefe met and fell in love with each other during their time at the traditional boarding school in Herlufsholm. They have been a couple for several years. Both have been studying at the renowned Copenhagen Business School (CBS) since 2019.
