The funeral service for Prince Philip will take place in Windsor on April 17th. RTL will then accompany the funeral ceremony live.

Prince Philips’ funeral is to take place on April 17th at Windsor Castle. On April 9, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II (94) died at the age of 99. RTL will accompany the funeral ceremony on Saturday from 3 p.m. live, as the broadcaster announced. Frauke Ludowig (57) and aristocracy expert Michael Begasse (55) classify the events and switch live to Katharina Delling and Ulrich Uppold, who report from London and Windsor.

Buckingham Palace has announced that there will be a nationwide minute of silence before the memorial service on Saturday. It was also confirmed by the royal family that Prince Harry (36) is arriving from his adopted Californian home for the funeral of his grandfather. His heavily pregnant wife, Duchess Meghan (39), had been advised against the trip by the doctors.

At the funeral, which only 30 guests are allowed to attend due to the corona restrictions, Harry will meet his brother Prince William (38) for the first time since the TV interview with Oprah Winfrey (67). According to British media reports, the two are said to walk side by side after their grandfather’s coffin.
