Prince William made his first appearance after shopping with Catherine, Princess of Wales. The Royal visits the city of Sheffield – and has touching words about his wife.
Prince William: “This is my wife’s area…”
In Sheffield, Prince William attended a Homewards Sheffield Local Coalition meeting at the Millennium Gallery to discuss ways to end homelessness. According to the British newspaper Mirror, when Kate Joseph, the head of Sheffield City Council, raised the issue of early childhood development, the prince immediately mentioned the success of Kate’s projects over the past few years. William held his palms out and said with a smile: “This is my wife’s area, she has to sit here.” A touching gesture.
However, he remained silent about his wife’s health. She should only return to work for the royal family after Easter and take part in official appointments. An exact date has not yet been set.
Catherine, Princess of Wales spotted with William in farm shop
It is the heir to the British throne’s first public appearance since he was spotted shopping with Catherine, Princess of Wales over the weekend. The British newspaper “The Sun” published photos and a video that showed the couple happily strolling through a farm shop in Windsor, a few hundred meters from their home Adelaide Cottage.
It was the first time Kate had been seen in public after she underwent abdominal surgery in January and was followed by wild speculation and rumors about her health. Previously, only photos came into circulation that showed her sitting in a car and the infamous Mother’s Day photo, for which Catherine subsequently had to publicly apologize for editing.
