The relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry has been more than tense for months. Now, however, a speech by the Duke of Cambridge provided hope: Are the brothers approaching again?

The last time Prince William, 39, and Prince Harry, 37, met in person was four months ago. At that time, the brothers unveiled a statue in honor of their late mother Princess Diana, † 36. A few days ago, a private event with friends and family of Lady Di is said to have taken place. Prince William gave a speech there that surprised everyone.

Prince William named his brother Harry by name in an intimate address

As an insider told “The Sun”, Prince William mentioned his younger brother by name, who had not traveled to London for the event. It was a very intimate address, which suggests that William and Harry might be getting closer at the moment. “William gave a brilliant speech thanking him and Harry and how happy they were both about the statue. He mentioned Harry by name,” the anonymous source said.

It seems as if the hopes of the Royal Experts are being fulfilled. After it became known that Prince Harry would be traveling to the statue unveiling on July 1, 2021, everyone wished that the memory of their mother’s death would make the brothers realize what was most important: the family. When the 37-year-old then flew back to the USA immediately after the appointment without having had a private conversation with William, hopes sank to zero. The special speech is a turning point. “The brothers hardly speak to each other, but it is clear that the Princess Di statue did something good,” said the insider.

Prince Harry + Duchess Meghan: are you coming to London for Christmas?

Royal experts were sure that Princess Diana’s youngest son would not miss the private event. A spokesman for the Sussexes, however, denied burgeoning rumors of a trip to London. What is certain, however, is that Prince Harry will travel to London in December to attend the Legacy Award 2021. It is not known whether Duchess Meghan, 40, will accompany her husband. Whether the two will take part in the Queen’s Christmas party remains under lock and key.
