After the birth of her second son, Princess Eugenie will return to her British homeland. The royals are said to be planning with her.
Will the British royals get reinforcements again soon? Princess Eugenie (33) is said to be planning to return to her homeland and take on more responsibility for the crown again. Last year she spent most of her time with her family in Portugal.
“Ambassador for her family”
Various British media are currently speculating about the new royal plans. How for example the “Mirror” reported, is said to be the niece of King Charles III. (74) take on major roles with the Royal National Orthopedic Hospital and other charities. According to insiders, she feels “happy and fulfilled” “acting as an ambassador for her family” and is ready to slowly move back to living permanently in the UK.
Eugenie moved to Portugal with her husband Jack Brooksbank (37) in May 2022. They live in the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club residential complex with their two sons August (2) and Ernest (five months). Since then they have been rare in Britain. The “OK!” magazine now quoted an insider stating: “Eugenie will not be able to fulfill her roles if she spends so much time abroad, so she has decided to spend more and more time in the UK and slowly move towards a permanent return.” The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew (63) and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (64) also feels most comfortable in her homeland and also wants her children to be able to grow up with other family members.
Eugenie could bring a breath of fresh air
Eugenie’s help would certainly come in handy for the royal family. After the departure of Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42) and the death of the Queen last year, the main work falls on four people: Charles, Camilla (76), William (41) and Kate (41). There is also a lack of family members who are under 40. So Eugenie could contribute to rejuvenation. She is said to have already been scheduled as a “jumper” when high-ranking royals are unable to attend appointments.
