While visiting a maternity ward, Princess Kate spoke to Prince William about finding names for her children.

Finding the right first name for a child is not easy. For famous people, the name search can be even more difficult. Visiting the maternity ward at Royal Surrey County Hospital, Princess Kate, 40, has now opened up about why she chose her own children’s names with her husband, Prince William, 40. The two have little Prince George (9), his sister Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4) together.

“She talked a lot about what it was like for her becoming a mother,” explains Amy Stubbs, who showed Kate around the US magazine “People”. “A lot of the new mums and dads are thinking about what names to name their babies and they’ve spoken to her about how Kate and William made their decision.”

Kate and William’s favorite names

Princess Kate reportedly declared that they were the couple’s “favorite names,” according to Stubbs. Obviously the world had been waiting for what they were going to name their children and that’s why it was “quite a lot of pressure” for Kate and William.

Meanwhile, Kate was “simply delightful” during her visit. And apparently the princess could only reply. “It was wonderful to meet some of the new mothers and their babies being supported by such a great team at the hospital,” they said Pictures from the visit to the official Instagram page of the couple.
