Princess Madeleine receives the Christmas trees for the Swedish castle together with her husband and three children.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden (39), together with her husband, Chris O’Neill (47), and their three children, Princess Leonore (7), Prince Nicolas (6) and Princess Adrienne (3), have the Christmas trees for Monday the Swedish castle received. Traditionally, these are presented to the royal family every year by students at the forestry college.

The majority of the family were dressed appropriately in red and green for the occasion. Princess Madeleine wore a red and black checked long skirt, a black turtleneck and black boots. Her son was wearing a red sweater with gray pants. The two girls came to the appointment in dark green velvet dresses with white shirts and white tights underneath. Papa Chris wore a classic dark gray suit.

Birthday and christmas

The press spokeswoman for the Swedish royal court, Margareta Thorgen, had previously announced the date. As the daily newspaper “Expressen” reports one, Madeleine and her family returned from their adopted home Florida to their homeland to celebrate Queen Silvia’s 78th birthday on December 23rd as well as Christmas with the royal family. Last year Madeleine and her family did not come to Sweden because of the corona pandemic.
