The successor to Face Time Bourbon, double winner of the Prix d’Amérique but forced to put an end to his career due to an injury, will allow his entourage to touch a nice little jackpot. The name of the winner of the Prix d’Amérique 2022 will be known on Sunday January 30, 2022 shortly after 4 p.m.
405,000 euros in allowances indeed reward the first of the world championship in the harnessed trot. Normally, he also pockets 45% of the race entry fees paid by the coaches.
The 405,000 euros in winnings are in principle distributed as follows: 80% of the winnings are intended for the owner of the winning crack, 15% are paid to the trainer and 5% to the driver. A breeder’s premium is also provided.
In total, the company LeTROT (ex-SECF) plans to distribute this year for the Prix d’Amérique 1,000,000 euros in allowances, 595,000 euros being shared from the second in the race to the seventh.
