US Bressane let slip a victory that held out its arms against Provence rugby, Friday evening, on the occasion of the 17th day of Pro D2 (24-24). Well ahead at the break (24-6) thanks to tries from Thibaut Perrette (18th) and Christiaan Erasmus (24th) and the leg of Mathis Viard, the Violets started the second half with an 18-point lead. A mattress that was not going to be enough.
The Bressans foiled in the second period
The face of the match changed completely after the break. Florent Massip (5/6 at the foot) reduced the gap (24-9, 53rd). Then his people found color on a ball carried concluded by Quentin Witt (24-16, 63rd).
