“Two months ago my cell phone rang,” says Tom Lohner in his “Bakerhouse Gallery” in Graz, “then Marcel Hirscher answered. I was thinking of a fun call from a friend. But it really was. And we chatted for 20 minutes straight away. ”A personal meeting followed – and intensive collaboration. “Marcel is the author of the picture, and I have translated his vision into the work of art,” says Lohner, who can count stars such as Sting, Alice Cooper, Heather Mills, Maroon5, Lady Gaga and Arnold Schwarzenegger among his customers and collectors. The result is “my most personal portrait”, the ski legend is enthusiastic about the end result, “that was a very special, exciting collaboration”.
