A man chats on the Internet with a supposedly underage girl and finally arranges a physical sex meeting with him. There the chat partner turns out to be an undercover police officer. Such cases are regularly heard in the courts, but journalists rarely report on them. This time, however, the accused is a former head of a child and adult protection authority (Kesb), precisely the authority whose name explicitly states that it actually wants to protect children. At the time of the crime, however, he had not been in office for years.
