For the jump from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, Sony has replaced the proven DualShock with the new DualSense. Even now Sony already seems again to work on an update. The PlayStation manufacturer has filed a patent for this, which could give the controller a new feature.

The DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 already provides haptic feedback.
