On January 20, while on his way to a funeral, a resident of the Uxia district of Aussurucq lost control of his vehicle and got stuck in a ditch. Imprisoned in his car, he had waited for 24 hours before being rescued. Hospitalized following the accident, the almost 79-year-old man died, we learned on Tuesday, February 1, from the Pau prosecutor’s office.
