For health reasons, the Queen has to step backwards. She also hasn’t pursued her favorite hobby for weeks.

Video calls instead of appearances: Queen Elizabeth II (95) just has to step back a little. She will not be attending the COP26 climate conference in Scotland and has previously canceled a visit to Northern Ireland. However, she apparently continues to work from her desk. But there are also restrictions in their free time.

Because she complained of “feeling unwell”, the Queen is said not to have been riding for two months. This is reported by the British tabloid “The Sun”. At the beginning of September, the 95-year-old was advised to take a break from her favorite hobby. According to the report, the monarch was determined to go horse riding again soon.

Back in the saddle soon?

The Queen was most recently in the saddle during her summer stay in Balmoral, Scotland, according to “The Sun”. “She is very disappointed that she has not been able to ride since the beginning of September,” the paper quotes a source. After a period of rest and relaxation, however, she wanted to resume her hobby. Elizabeth II has always been an avid rider and fan of horse racing. Their own animals are also consistently successful in this.

After the death of her husband Prince Philip (1921-2021) in April, the Queen had 120 appointments until her now canceled trip to Northern Ireland, according to “The Sun”. She was in the hospital one night last week. The palace had justified the stay in the clinic with “preliminary examinations”.

The royal family recently shared pictureswho have favourited Elizabeth II at her first appointment after the rest days. Apparently in a good mood and in a yellow costume, she greeted ambassadors from South Korea and Switzerland via video call from Windsor Castle.
