Feud between Prince William and Prince Harry is “hard to bear” for her

The waves between Prince William and Prince Harry still don’t seem to have smoothed out. Above all, one is said to be particularly sad about the feud between the two brothers: Queen Elizabeth.
Over the past few years, the once good relationship between Prince William, 39, and his younger brother Prince Harry, 37, has cooled significantly. It all started with his relationship with his current wife, Duchess Meghan, 40. William is said to have reacted anything but enthusiastically to the rapid development of this love, before the two said yes in 2018 in front of 600 guests and the eyes of millions of onlookers.
No debate between Prince William and Prince Harry
The feud between the two British royals reached its climax in March 2021, when the 37-year-old stated in an explosive disclosure interview with Oprah Winfrey, 67, that his brother was “trapped” in the royal system. Together with Meghan, he announced his departure as Senior Royal a year earlier and left his home country to build a life together with her in the USA – far away from the duties and constraints of the British palace.
Since then, the two brothers have only met twice. In April 2021, Prince Harry flew home to attend the funeral of his late grandfather, Prince Philip, † 99; in July he and William unveiled a statue of their mother, Princess Diana, † 36. According to media reports, the debate should not have taken place on any of the occasions.

Queen Elizabeth suffers from her grandchildren’s quarrel
One family member is said to be particularly suffering from the broken relationship between young men: Queen Elizabeth, 95. “In her statement on the Oprah interview, the Queen made it clear that Harry and Meghan will continue to be loved family members,” explains journalist Emily Nash in the documentary “2021 : The Queen’s Terrible Year “. “It is obvious that she has been particularly hard hit by the dispute between the brothers.” After all, after the loss of her mother, she paid special attention to the upbringing of the two brothers.
“You know, these are two brothers who have been inseparable for many years. And it is incredibly sad to see things end like this,” the British Mirror quoted the Royal expert as saying.
The monarch has had a difficult year
Behind the Queen lies a year marked by terrible events, the so-called “annus horribilis”. While the pandemic continued to rage, she lost her beloved husband in April, her grandson moved further away from the family, her son Prince Andrew, 61, battled an abuse lawsuit, and she herself with health problems.
