Queen Máxima (49) and husband King Willem-Alexander (53) inspire with a royal bike tour. The Dutch royal couple traveled through Ooststellingwerf in south-east Friesland on Thursday. Discussions about sustainability and education with authorities and business people were on the agenda. The bike tour was part of a company appointment. Especially Máxima attracted attention with her outfit.
The 49-year-old wore an asymmetrical dress with an integrated waist belt in the national color orange. She also combined an XXL raffia sun hat and a matching handbag that dangled from her bicycle handlebar. Caramel-colored leather gloves, velvet pumps and sunglasses rounded off her outfit.
Husband Willem-Alexander wore a dark blue suit with an orange tie. The royal family also posted photos of their appointments on the official Instagram channel. In addition to the bike tour, the program also included a visit to a cheese dairy.
