Ray Liotta plays alongside Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser in the new Apple drama series "In With The Devil".
New role for Ray Liotta (66): The "Goodfellas" star has got hold of a part in the new Apple drama series "In With The Devil", as reported by "Deadline" among others. In the six-part series he will appear alongside Taron Egerton (31, "Rocketman") and Paul Walter Hauser (34, "Songbird").
The series is based on the novel "In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption" by Hillel Levin and James Keene from 2010. In it, Keene tells his own life story. The screenplay for the series, produced by Apple Studios, Imperative Entertainment and Eden Productions, was written by crime writer Dennis Lehane, and the Belgian Michaël R. Roskam ("The Drop – Cash") directs. The series is scheduled to appear on AppleTV + in 2022.
Taron Egerton plays James Keene on In With The Devil, who is sentenced to a long prison term. However, he is offered freedom if he manages to elicit a confession from another inmate, a serial killer (Paul Walter Hauser). The series is designed to shed light on the intimate relationship between the two prisoners and examine how far people would go to be pardoned and seek redemption. Ray Liotta takes on the role of Keene's father Big Jim, a cop with influential relationships.
