Steam Deck

This time, it’s good: the Steam Deck should see the light of day next month, three months behind schedule
. But will he have your favors?

Considered unbeatable in the portable console sector, Nintendo has long been king of the world in this area, although challenged for a time by Sony and its PlayStation Portable (as well as the Vita).

Faced with Nintendo, all shots are allowed

However, at a time when the Switch is at the top of the charts around the world, particularly in France, where it should exceed sales of the Wii in its fifth year of operation, more and more manufacturers are seeking to obtain a share of the juicy hybrid console market.

Among them, Valve announced to everyone’s surprise last summer the Steam Deck. A real little pocket PC (well, you need a big pocket, we grant you that), the machine has a major argument to make: it will benefit from a large part of the Steam catalog, the studio’s home store .

Highly motivated publishers

A sign that the pre-sales seem to be a success, we see above all more and more publishers and developers communicating with great fanfare about the availability and compatibility of their productions with the Steam Deck.

Offered from €419, or €120 more than a Nintendo Switch, will Valve’s portable console receive your favors? Did you pre-order it or do you plan to? And if not, for what reason?

We are waiting for your testimonials in the comments!
